1. Information Collection and Storage
Invoice Creator is designed as a privacy-focused local-first application:
Local Device Storage: Your invoice data, client lists, business profiles, catalog items, expenses, time entries, and eSignature images are stored locally on your device in an encrypted Room SQLite database.
No External Server Copying: We do not upload your financial invoices or client databases to our own servers.
2. Third-Party Services and APIs
To provide specific features, Invoice Creator integrates with trusted third-party services:
Google Play Billing API: Used to manage in-app subscriptions (Free, Starter, Professional). Payment transactions are processed directly and securely by Google Play. We do not store or see your credit card or payment credentials.
Google AI (Gemini API): If you enable AI Features or generate AI business logos, prompt inputs (such as business name, industry, and selected theme color) are transmitted to Google's Gemini API. Users may supply their own Gemini API key or use integrated Google AI services.
Firebase Services & Analytics: Used for app stability monitoring, payment reminder notifications, and performance optimization.
3. Device Permissions
Invoice Creator requests specific permissions solely to perform requested features:
Storage / Media Access: Needed to import company logos, attach receipts, save generated PDF invoices, and store signature drawings.
Notification Permission: Required on Android 13+ to deliver scheduled payment reminder notifications for overdue invoices.
4. PDF Document Sharing
When you choose to share an invoice PDF or send an email payment reminder, the app uses Android's secure FileProvider system to grant temporary, read-only permission strictly to the target application you select (such as Gmail, WhatsApp, or Outlook).
5. Data Deletion Request & Retention Policy
Users can delete their data in Invoice Creator using any of the following methods:
In-App Deletion: You can edit or permanently delete any invoice, client record, business profile, or expense entry directly within the app at any time.
Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored app databases and cached PDF files from your device.
Email Request: To request support data deletion, send an email to beladey@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". All requested records will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Invoice Creator is intended for business professionals, trades, freelancers, and small businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
